Mechanical Seals

Mechanical seals are devices that are used to provide a seal at the point of entry or exit of a rotating shaft. Typically it is used to prevent the leakage of one high pressure fluid into a lower pressure fluid.mechanical seal designs and configurations can vary significantly, in general the mechanical seal is characterised by a pair of seal faces, one of which is connected to the rotating shaft, and the other is connected to the stationary casing of the equipment being sealed.Silicon Carbide (SIC) Carbon (CAR) Ceramic (CER) materials are commonly using for each part (Stationary and Rotery).
