Tubes
Pneumatic tubes and hoses are used to ensure consistent airflow within a pneumatic machine. They arrive in all shapes and sizes, to suit the designated device. While you can get either rigid or flexible options, operators and engineers prefer having more leeway with the latter. Hence, at SMC we have pneumatic tubing and hoses.A pneumatic hose is usually reinforced tubing that has an additional nylon layer. You specify its measurements by inside diameter due to the additional nylon braid, since it naturally reduces the diameter. Generally, machines that use hoses prefer reinforcement over the loss of potential flexibility.
